School starts in less than one week! Okay parents, stop dancing around the room and finish reading! When you’re not reading Patch, you should be looking at the Jefferson Township School Dsitrict web site. It has a wealth of information, and with school starting soon, there are many things you’ll want to know. Here are some of the things that can be found on the district’s web site:
- Calendar: You can check out the calendar with all the important dates for the entire 2011-2012 school year.
- RealTime Parent Portal: You can sign up for this portal, new this year, and find out your child’s progress in any class at any time throughout the year.
- School Schedules: What time does school start in a delayed opening? How about when school closes on a half day? You can find out all the scheduling information you need.
- Lunch Menus: Want to know whether to pack lunch or let the kids buy? Get the lunch menu here as well.
- Bullying Policy: The district has its harassment, intimidation and bullying policy on the site that you can view any time you feel you need it.
