Jefferson School Board Looks to Fill Seat

Board member Nick Anzano resigns, leaving seat open.

The Jefferson Board of Education is seeking to fill a seat left vacated by the resignation of member Nick Anzano. Anzano left the position due to "career related demands," he said.

Letters must be received by Thursday, Sept. 8. The current board members will interview applicants during executive session of the next board of education meeting, scheduled for Sept. 20, Zeno said.

The candidate the board selects is expected to fill the unexpired term until the next election in April 2012.
