Superintendent and Sentencing Top the Week in Jefferson

Here's all the news you may have missed.

Lots went on in J-Town last week. We had a new superintendent, a murder sentencing and a couple of pretty good girls’ basketball games. Don’t worry if you missed anything. We have all the details right here in our week in review.

Ronnie Fedo Sentenced: on Friday, for the death of Nisan Ambaroglu, the owner of the Getty Mart on Route 15. The incident happened on June 25.

Kraemer Named Superintendent: on Thursday. He is currently the assistant superintendent, and will take over the position on April 1, when current superintendent Dr. Kathaleen Fuchs retires.

Girls’ Basketball: The Lady Falcons won both the and in the NJSIAA North Section 1 Group 3 state tournament this week.  The girls will take on Teaneck on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the high school for the state sectional title.

Portofino Wins: award for Italian restaurants in Jefferson. Little Nicki’s came in second in the voting.
