W-I-N-N-E-R: Jefferson Student to Compete in State Spelling Bee

Fifth grader to test his skills against state's best after winning regional competition.

Aakaash Gosain, a fifth grade student at , placed second in the New Jersey State Federation of Women's Clubs northern region spelling bee. This earns him the right to compete in the state spelling bee on March 12 on the campus of Rutgers University in New Brunswick.

Other Jefferson students who participated in the event were Varsh Murthy and Akhila Archakam, both fifth grade students at Stanlick School.
