It was a good day in Jefferson as both Jefferson High teams competing on Tuesday walked away with big wins.

Girls Volleyball rolls to Win No. 3

Taylor Blachek notched seven kills and Kristen Flaherty had five kills and nine digs to help the Jefferson girls volleyball team past Vernon, 2-0, according to NJ.com. Sara Voorhees added 15 assists for Jefferson (3-9).

Field Hockey Stops Mt. Olive

Brooke Lehman scored twice to help lead the Jefferson girls field hockey team over Mount Olive, 4-2, according to Jefferson head coach Kasey Farris. Lauren Ransegnola and Vienna Castrignano also scored for Jefferson (8-2-1).
