Falcons' Baseball Season Ends in Playoff Opener

Jefferson dropped opening round game to Mt. Olive Monday.

Despite entering Monday's competition as the higher seed, the Jefferson Falcons dropped the opening round of the NJSIAA playoffs to Mt. Olive, 2-1.

Despite seven innings of two-run ball behind Joe Nadler and Evan Weigmann, the Falcons could only produce one run, which came off the bat of Nadler, according to nj.com.

Jefferson went 18-11 on the season.

No. 12 seed Mt. Olive moves on to the North 1, Group 3 quarterfinals to face off against No. 5 Demarest on Friday.
