Field Hockey Advances in MCT
The Jefferson girls field hockey team stopped Montville, 4-1, in the first round of the Morris County Tournament on Thursday, according to Jefferson head coach Kasey Farris.

Katelyn Cannarozzi, Lauren Ferguson, Darianne Mastricola and Brittany Miller each scored for Jefferson, with Ferguson also notching two assists. Jefferson goalie Lexi Taveras stopped two shots in the win.
Jess Miller scored for Montville, and Mustang goalie Lindsay Karback made 13 saves in the loss.

Boys Soccer Earns 2OT Win
A second overtime goal from Erik Jarosz helped spur Jefferson past Lenape Valley, 2-1, according to NJ.com. Michael Montague also scored for the Falcons (6-5).
Falcons Move to 4-1 With Win Over Montville
Touchdowns from Devyn Sanchez and Steve Strumolo helped Jefferson stop Montville, 14-13, on Thursday night, according to NJ.com. Nolan Ehntholt and Jon Lacy each scored for Montville, with a missed extra-point after Lacy’s score leading to the loss.
