Jefferson Varsity Rec. Football Team, 2012 MCYFL National Champions

Congratulations to the eighth grade rec. football team on a superb 2012 season. They have made us all proud with their determination, disipline and teamwork. We look forward to seeing them playing high school football the next four years.

Here is a message from their coach:

The Jefferson Falcons Varsity Team is the Morris County Youth Football League 2012 National Conference Champions! Their championship record was seven wins and one loss (their only loss being a double overtime defensive battle to Randolph). This was a most fitting end to a successful Morris County Youth Football Career. Starting from third grade, the team's combined record is 43-12-2 and it averaged 31 players per year.

This year, our team was honored by having Conner Brown, Brandon Magnotta and Victor Schiavo selected to represent the North section of New Jersey in the Annual All-State Youth Football game, which took place on Nov. 30.

On behalf of the entire coaching staff, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the dedication and hard work of the players and the cooperation and support of the parents. Together we have had a wonderful experience and one I shall never forget.
