Bakera Sworn In as Firefighter
His father, past chief Guy Bakera was there to see his son sworn in.
Another firefighter has joined the ranks of Fire Company No. 1, serving the Oak Ridge section of Jefferson Township.
Jake Bakera is the newest member of the department, after being sworn in at Wednesday night’s council meeting.
Mayor Russell Felter read the proclamation swearing Bakera in, and council president Richard Yocum thanked Bakera for his service to the township.
