Chamber, Picatinny Sign Covenant

Jefferson Chamber of Commerce businesses offer discounts to service people.

As a way of  thanking members of the military for their service to the country, businesses that are members of the Jefferson Township Chamber of Commerce will give service people  discounts on products and services.

Representatives from the Jefferson Township Chamber of Commerce and Picatinny Arsenal signed the Picatinny Covenant at last week’s Chamber awards dinner.

“We’d like to thank the chamber for their work on this covenant,” said Lt. Col. Charles Koehler, garrison commander of Picatinny.

According to literature from the chamber, “this program was made possible through the continued commitment of our members who sign the covenant and pledge support to our military. Not only is this great for our military, but it shows the community we are human and care.”
