Students Honor Mom of One of Their Own
In the spring, students at Jefferson High School walked to raise funds for Pam Jerkovich, mom of a student.
TADA, the Teens Against Dating Abuse group at Jefferson Township High School, sponsors a walk every spring. This year, the proceeds went to the family of Pam Jerkovich, who had died of cancer and had children in the district.
Welcome to “A Picture and a Paragraph.” It’s exactly what it sounds like, really. Each day we post a picture, and write a short paragraph about it. Maybe it will be a photo of an event that already happened, or something that didn’t make a past photo gallery. Maybe it will be something that we see that catches our eye. In any event, it will be something fun for you to look at.
We’d like to invite you to submit your pictures for “A Picture and a Paragraph” as well. You can send the photo to me, susan.toth@patch.com. You can write your own paragraph, or just give us a quick description and we’ll write the paragraph. It’s up to you. Have fun choosing your photos! (But remember, Patch is a family-friendly publication!)
