Don the Bib: A Taste of Jefferson Tempts the Palate Saturday

Sample foods and beverages from a host of Jefferson-area restaurants.

The township's culinary event of the season is here. A Taste of Jefferson, a presentation of the Jefferson Arts Committee, is scheduled for Saturday night at St. Thomas the Apostle Church’s Parish Hall.

Those attending will have the unique opportunity to sample a wide variety of food and beverage items from some of the best eateries in Jefferson Township and the immediate area. Organizers say the evening will present a wonderful opportunity for area residents to enjoy dinner for a fraction of what a night out would cost. In addition they get the chance to experience the offerings of more than a dozen area restaurants in one night, socialize with friends and family and meet new friends.

The JAC said local restaurants, eateries and delicatessens will present trays of their wares—prepared in their own kitchens—and serve them buffet style at the church hall. A Taste of Jefferson is a BYOB event, and live entertainment will be provided by the Jefferson Township Community Jazz Band.
