Musical performances, museum tours, arts and craft sales and more planned for Saturday.
With a weekend full of holiday events coming up, the township is gearing up for one of its most popular events of all: the annual Christmas in the Village. The seventh annual holiday event hosted by the Jefferson Arts Committee will be held all day on Saturday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the historic Village of Milton. The celebration, which usually draws a couple hundred residents each year, will be filled with musical performances by Jefferson students, museum tours, arts and craft sales, and other food and fun for residents to enjoy in the Milton section of the township. Another busy week is beginning in Jefferson Township, with lots to keep you busy. You can hit a meeting or two, go to a concert or two or run a 5K. BILY Support Group: If you’re having trouble with your teenager’s behavior, this is the group to go to for support. It meets tonight at 7 p.m. at the Board of Education office. Parent Meeting: The Jefferson Township High School Boys’ Soccer Association will hold its first meeting of the 2012 season on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the high school.
