2 Incumbents, 1 Newcomer Eye School Board Seats

Cynthia Scott doesn't file for new term before petition deadline.

Two of Jefferson Township's current school board members will seek re-election in 2013, while one incumbent will be replaced by a newcomer.

According to the Morris County Clerk's Office, incumbents Matt Millar, the board's current vice president, along with Ed Quigley have filed to run for re-election in the November vote.

The filings showed Cynthia Scott will not run for another three-year term, and will be replaced by newcomer Daniell Rowan.

The school board is made up of nine Jefferson volunteers, and led by president H. Ronald Smith.

School board elections will be held Tuesday, November 5.
